More and more musicians are using the internet to promote their music. So did Arcade Fire. On Adverblog – a blog of  Martina Zavagno, where she shares links to the best interactive marketing campaigns she happens to see around the Web – I found a chrome experiment called ‘The Wilderness Downtown’, an interactive interpretation of Arcade Fire’s song ‘We Used To Wait’.

Click here for more info about chrome experiments. As you probably already guessed, you need Google Chrome for the best viewing experience of ‘The Wilderness Downtown’. Because it was designed with Google Chrome in mind and is therefore unable to render properly in other browsers.

In the blog post Martina says that ‘The Wilderness Downtown’ was built entirely with the latest open web technologies, including HTML5 video, audio and canvas. Curious? Then enter your location, and enjoy!
