Yesterday my lecturer was Fons Van Dyck, managing director at think.BBDO in Brussels. He started his course with this video to get our attention. After it finished, he said: “70% of the facts in this presentation are 100% made up, the 30% that’s left I will explain you in this course”. And he did.
He used history, economy, marketing, brand management and the profile of the consumer of today to explain us how the world is changed. And more importantly, how we, the consumers, have changed. After the course we got an assignment called ‘brand of 2020’, by which we have to collect customer insights via 2.0 media about the world of 2020.
How do you think the world of 2020 will be like? And which brands will survive?
